Another underwhelming expansion with very few threats that can compete with the early Mega Rising meta. I immediately reached Masterball this season by a 7-win streak with the standard post-Mega Rising version of Suicune Greninja.

Perhaps the only contentious decision in the deck is the inclusion of Frogadier. I think it's better than the slightly more popular Starting Plains because it guarantees you can evolve Froakie if pestered by Chingling and avoids giving the opponent a potential health boost.

For players new to the archetype, the optimal set up is almost always one Suicune, one Greninja, one Indeedee ex and one Greninja ex on the field. Sacrificing Indeedee when pulled as the lead is often worth doing rather than wasting an energy to retreat.
