Third season in which I reach Masterball with Darktina. This is the only deck that has been relevant, and arguably top tier, since ranked matches have been in existence. As usual, this is also an excellent deck list for f2players like me, assuming they have found the four ex cards in previous seasons or through trades.

One might think that this deck will struggle in ranked given the popularity of Oricorio-Silvally, but this is a misconception. Darktina can often wall the damage from those decks while wearing down Corio with Dark Aura. This leads me to the reason for some unusual choices in terms of utility cards. I see on the website that x1 PC Lady and x1 Leaf is standard for current Darktina decks. I do not follow that trend for two reasons: (1) you absolutely need as much healing from Lady as you can to hold fort against Corio and (2) Leaf is (surprisingly) expendable as long as you Bellow your active Giratina, which is usually the optimal choice anyway. Guzma is also crucial in a lot of interactions, especially - again - against Cape Corio. The only new card is the extremely powerful Silver: being able to see the opponent's hand AND remove a Supporter is absurd. Definitely a new staple for the future of PTCGP.
