I ended this season around position #8400, in large part due to this deck. I'll just stop here and hope I make it into top 10k for the first time. I know MAbsol Hydreigon is top meta since Mega Rising, but I am glad I get to showcase it once before it is (potentially) countered by future expansions like the upcoming Fighting-centered one.

I think it is a mistake to play this deck in the poison version in the current meta. PC Lady is too common now due to how scary Igglybuff+Bad Dreams Darkrai is, and using the poison version of this deck is just giving an extra advantage to those decks. Instead, Leap Over Absol can function as a bit of a wall even if it doesn't snatch kills, until you generate the inevitable Heydreigon and unleash ****. Also, this deck features what I think might be the craziest card in the latest expansion: Hiking Trail. Trail not only functions as a couple extra Prof Researches if you play your cards well enough; it ALSO gives oppo cards that you can remove with Mega Absol! Incredibly powerful stadium.
