Giant Cape is so that Charizard EX (5-cost) matchup isn't an instant loss (Solgaleo self-damages for 10 and is 170 hp, and Charizard EX does 150 + 20 = 170). It's also sometimes useful against the other meta decks right now (Buzzwole EX, Silvally/Rampardos, etc.).

Iono is insane card draw.

Lillie allows one Solgaleo to have up to 180 + 20 + 60 = 260 hp, which survives 2 Solgaleo hits or 2 Buzzwole EX hits.

Some other supporter cards that are commonly used right now with Solgaleo are Cyrus and Red.

I used Cyrus for a while, but in situations where I had it in my hand, it was either unusable because everything on their bench was full HP or a Sabrina sufficed. I can see that it would be useful against Buzzwole EX since that deck can switch pokemon to the bench whenever, but I personally haven't encountered situations where Cyrus is usefull.

Red is good for one-shotting Buzzwole EX (140 hp), Darkrai EX (140 hp), and especially Giratina EX (150 hp but self-damages for 20). However, Buzzwole always has (leaf) cape, so it's not useful in that matchup. I haven't been facing many Darktina decks, so I used Giant Cape/Iono/Lillie instead of Red.
