Pokemon TCG Pocket Announces Major Pack & Event Changes

Overview

The Pokemon TCG Pocket Operations Team have shared a message over on Social Media regarding upcoming changes to content in the game. You can read their full message on the official X Account , but here's a quick rundown of the highlights:

• From the release of C Series (which will include Dual-Type Pokemon), Booster Packs will be released roughly every 6 weeks instead of every 4.
• Immersive Cards will be obtainable as Mission Rewards, separate from those available in Packs.
• A new pack series, Special Pack: First Partners is releasing which includes cards based on the first 9 regions' Partner Pokemon. These packs can only be opened once per week.
• 1 Star Promo Cards will become available from Event Missions, with a new reward each week over a 3 week period.
• You will be able to view and copy community decks directly from the game itself.
• Rental Decks will have unlimited usage, and can now be used for versus battles.
• Battle Events will be added with limitations on the usable card pool. Obtain accessories, promo packs and more based on your win count.
• Additional updates to streamline Trading.
• Further updates will release with subsequent Booster Pack releases.
