The Pokemon Company & DeNA have announced the next expansion for Pokemon TCG Pocket, Fantastical Parade releasing on January 29th at 10am JST / January 28th 5pm PST, including the arrival of Stadiums to Pokemon TCG Pocket!.

In Fantastical Parade, players can look forward to elevating their collecting and battling experience by opening new booster packs featuring Mega Gardevoir. The expansion will introduce new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex cards, with the Legendary Pokémon Ogerpon making its Pokémon TCG Pocket debut as Teal Mask Ogerpon ex. In addition, cards from Fantastical Parade will feature colorful festival-themed illustrations, as well as Stadiums – which will make their debut as a new subtype of Trainer cards, shaking up the in-play zone during battles.

  • Elite Deck Gift Missions - Jan. 29 at 10 p.m. PST to April 26 at 10:59 p.m. PDT: Players can complete missions to obtain a powerful Fire-type Elite Deck, featuring Mega Blaziken ex and Entei ex.
  • Handy Card Collection Missions - Jan. 29 at 10 p.m. PST to April 26 at 10:59 p.m. PDT: During this period, players can tackle special missions to obtain Trainer cards that have useful effects in battle, such as Copycat, Giant Cape and more.
  • Mega Medicham ex Drop Event - Feb. 11 at 10 p.m. PST to Feb. 21 at 9:59 p.m. PST: Players can take on special solo battles to obtain B Series promo packs vol. 4.
  • Wonder Pick Event - Feb. 14 at 10 p.m. PST to Feb. 24 at 9:59 p.m. PST: Promo cards featuring Cinderace and Alolan Vulpix will appear in wonder picks. During this event, there will also be missions that allow players to obtain an event shop ticket which can be exchanged for a promo card at the Shop.

In-App Updates

  • New Message Function: A new message function will be added to the app's trade feature on Jan. 29. Players will be able to choose between set messages, allowing them to share whether they’d like to trade for a wishlisted card or a card in an alternate language.
  • New Random Battle Option: Beginning Jan. 29, players will have the option to participate in a random battle—as part of the solo battle feature—where an opponent’s deck will be a surprise until the battle begins.
